San Antonio Brahmas sign OL Zuri Henry, release OL Kenneth Horsey and DB Kaleb Ford-Dement

The San Antonio Brahmas signed offensive lineman Zuri Henry and released offensive lineman Kenneth Horsey and defensive back Kaleb Ford-Dement on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Zuri Henry is six foot six and weighs 310 pounds. The 24-year-old from Dallas, Texas, signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he played three preseason games. The Patriots released him on August 26, 2024.

Collegiately, Henry played six seasons at the University of Texas at El Paso (2018-23) playing left tackle and right tackle in 53 games, of which 37 were starts for the Miners. In 2023, UTEP averaged 19.92 points per game, 144.3 rushing yards per game, 217.67 passing yards per game, 362.0 total yards per game, 30 touchdowns, and allowed 30 sacks finishing 3-9 for the season.

Kenneth Horsey is six foot three and weighs 311 pounds. A native of Orlando, Florida, Horsey went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft and earned rookie minicamp invites from the Washington Commanders and the New York Jets. The San Antonio Brahmas signed Horsey on July 27, 2024.

Collegiately, Horsey played six seasons at the University of Kentucky (2019-23) playing left guard in 43 games, of which 37 were starts for the Wildcats.

In 2023, Kentucky’s offense averaged 339.5 total yards per game, 211.6 passing yards per game, 127.8 rushing yards per game, 29.08 points per game, and 50 touchdowns finishing 7-6 in the season losing to the Clemson Tigers in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl 38-35.

Kaleb Ford-Dement is five foot eleven and weighs 178 pounds. The 25-year-old from Whitehouse, Texas, signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024, and was released on July 26, 2024.

Then, Ford-Dement signed with the New Orleans Saints on August 13, 2024. He played one preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers making one tackle (1 solo). The Saints released him on August 23, 2024. The San Antonio Brahmas signed Ford-Dement on August 29, 2024.

Collegiately, Ford-Dement played one season at Kilgore College in 2018 making 34 tackles (22 solo, 12 assists), 3 tackles for loss, 6 interceptions for 132 yards, and 10 pass breakups in 12 games for the Rangers. The Rangers finished the season 10-2 winning the Heart of Texas Bowl.

Next, he transferred to Old Dominion (2019-20) making 26 tackles (16 solo, 10 assists), two interceptions, and 15 pass breakups in 12 games for the Monarchs. He was named Second Team All-C-USA in 2019.

Then, Ford-Dement transferred to Washington State (2021-22) making 10 tackles (6 solo, 4 assists), 1 tackle for loss, and one pass breakup in 12 games for the Cougars. He missed the 2022 season due to injury.

Ford-Dement concluded his collegiate career at Texas State in 2023 making 32 tackles (21 solo, 11 assists), 3 tackles for loss, one sack, 3 interceptions for 17 yards, and 10 pass breakups in 13 games for the Bobcats.
