The Edmonton Elks signed defensive back Alfred (Steve) Stephens IV on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Alfred (Steven) Stephens IV is six foot and weighs 205 pounds. The 24-year-old from Fresno, California, went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Collegiately, Stephens IV played six seasons at Oregon (2018-23) making 149 tackles (80 solos, 69 assists), four tackles for loss, three interceptions for 44 yards, eight pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 54 games for the Ducks. In 2023, he made 56 tackles (33 solos, 23 assists), two tackles for loss, two interceptions for six yards, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 14 games.
