The Montreal Alouettes finalized their coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season on Tuesday. The only new addition to the coaching staff is Bryan Wyllie.

Bryan Wyllie will be the new defensive assistant for the Alouettes. He previously was the linebackers coach with the Saint Mary’s Huskies (USPORTS) and coached the Yale Bulldogs. In addition, he was also a coach for the Edmonton Huskies (CJFL) and the Vancouver Raiders (BCFC).

“I’m very happy that our coaches are back,” said Alouettes general manager Danny Maciocia. “We have a group that works well together, and they have excellent chemistry. Everyone believes in our culture, which explains our success over the past few years.”

The Montreal Alouettes finished the 2024 season 12-5-1 winning the East Division but were upset in the Eastern Final against the Toronto Argonauts, who went on to win the 111th Grey Cup. The Alouettes won the 110th Grey Cup in 2023 over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers which was head coach Jason Maas’s first season.
