The Edmonton Elks and long snapper Luke Burton-Krahn agreed to a two-year contract extension through the 2026 season on Wednesday.

Luke Burton-Krahn is six foot one and weighs 206 pounds. The 25-year-old from Victoria, British Columbia, made seven tackles on special teams in 18 games for the Elks in 2024.

The Edmonton Elks drafted Burton-Krahn in the third round (23rd pick) of the 2023 CFL Draft. In 2023, he made six tackles on special teams in five games.

Collegiately, Burton-Krahn played five seasons at the University of British Columbia (2018-22) making 60 tackles (36 solos, 24 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 26 games for the Thunderbirds.
