The San Antonio Brahmas signed quarterback Jarrett Guarantano on Thursday according to Fox Sports.
Jarrett Guarantano is six foot four and weighs 220 pounds. The 27-year-old from Lodi, New Jersey, signed with the Houston Roughnecks on December 22, 2023. In 2024, Guarantano completed 30 of 47 passes (63.8%) for 302 yards, five carries for 36 yards, and one touchdown in four games before missing the rest of the season due to an injury. He became a free agent after the 2024 season.
The Arizona Cardinals signed Guarantano as an undrafted free agent on May 16, 2022. In 2022, he completed 17 of 30 passes (56.7%) for 232 yards, three touchdowns, and eight carries for 27 yards in three preseason games. The Cardinals released him on October 4, 2022. The Denver Broncos signed Guarantano on December 6, 2022. Denver released him on July 25, 2023.
Collegiately, Guarantano played four seasons at Tennessee (2017-2020) completing 494 of 808 passes (61%) for 6,174 yards, 38 touchdowns, 17 interceptions, 196 carries for -62 yards, and five touchdowns in 41 games for the Volunteers.
Then, Guarantano transferred to Washington State in 2021 completing 33 of 49 passes (67%) for 304 yards, one touchdown, three interceptions, and 19 carries for -6 yards in three games for the Cougars.
