Luquay Washington Jr. is six foot two and weighs 232 pounds. The 23-year-old from Waldorf, Maryland, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2024. The Chiefs released him on July 26, 2024. Next, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Washington Jr. on August 10, 2024. In 2024, he made six tackles (3 solos, 3 assists) in two preseason games. The Steelers released him on August 27, 2024.
Collegiately, Washington Jr. played five seasons at Central Connecticut State University (2019-23) making 110 tackles (65 solos, 45 assists), 16.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, three interceptions for 109 yards, five pass breakups, one blocked kick, and two touchdowns in 37 games for the Blue Devils.
In 2023, he made 31 tackles (21 solos, 10 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, one interception for 52 yards, one touchdown, and two pass breakups in seven games. He was named Second Team All-NEC in 2023.
