The Memphis Showboats are set to sign defensive back Eric Garror on Friday according to Pro Football Newsroom writer James Larsen.
Eric Garror is five foot eight and weighs 174 points. The 24-year-old from Mobile, Alabama, signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 15, 2023. In 2023, he made eight tackles (8 solos), and one pass breakup in three preseason games.
He made 22 tackles (19 solos, 3 assists), one tackle for loss, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and 21 punt returns for 159 yards in 12 regular season games. In 2024, he made three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists), and one pass breakup in three preseason games.
The Titans released him on August 27, 2024. Next, the Seattle Seahawks signed Garror on October 17, 2024. He spent five days on the practice squad before being released on October 22, 2024.
Collegiately, Garror played four seasons at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (2019-22) making 129 tackles (90 solos, 39 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, nine interceptions for 105 yards, 35 pass breakups, eight kick returns for 127 yards, 95 punt returns for 814 yards, and three touchdowns in 62 games for the Ragin’ Cajuns. He was named Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference in 2021, and First Team All-Sun Belt Conference in 2022.
