The Calgary Stampeders and fullback William Langlais agreed to a one-year contract extension through the 2025 season on Wednesday.
William Langlais is six foot three and weighs 228 pounds. The 34-year-old from Hull, Quebec, missed the 2024 season due to an Achilles tendon injury.
The Calgary Stampeders drafted Langlais in the third round (27th pick) of the 2015 CFL Draft. In 2023, he made four catches for 28 yards, one touchdown, and three kick returns for 40 yards in 17 games.
In seven seasons in Calgary, Langlais has 24 catches for 289 yards, two touchdowns, one carry for three yards, one tackle, 60 tackles on special teams, one touchdown, 10 kick returns for 162 yards, one punt for 50 yards, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown in 123 games.
Collegiately, Langlais played two seasons at Cégep Beauce-Appalaches (2009-11) and Université de Sherbrooke (2012-13).
