The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are set to sign defensive lineman Miles Fox to a two-year contract through 2026 when free agency starts next Tuesday according to 3DownNation writer Troy Durrell.
Miles Fox is six foot one and weighs 297 pounds. The 28-year-old from Lawrenceville, Georgia, made three tackles in three games for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2024.
Fox attended the Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp in 2022. The B.C. Lions signed Fox on May 23, 2022. In 2022, he made three tackles in two games and spent the rest of the season on the practice squad. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Fox on June 12, 2023. In 2023, he made three tackles and one sack in two games.
Collegiately, Fox played four seasons at Old Dominion (2015-18) making 116 tackles (52 solos, 64 assists), 16.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks, two forced fumbles, and one pass breakup in 39 games for the Monarchs. He missed the 2019 season due to a Torn Achilles injury. In 2017, Fox was an All-Conference USA honorable mention.
Then, Fox transferred to Wake Forrest (2020-21) making 58 tackles (31 solos, 27 assists), 17.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery in 21 games for the Demon Deacons. In addition, Fox was named 2020 Third Team All-ACC.
