The Memphis Showboats signed offensive lineman Nick Torres on Wednesday according to Fox Sports.
Nick Torres is six foot six and weighs 306 pounds. The 26-year-old from Whitestone, New York, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2024. The Chiefs released him on August 26, 2024.
Collegiately, Torres played six seasons at Villanova (2018-23) playing guard and tackle in 53 games, of which 50 were starts for the Wildcats. In 2023, Villanova averaged 31.92 points per game, 214.6 rushing yards per game, 210.31 passing yards per game, 424.9 total yards per game, 55 touchdowns, and allowed 24 sacks finishing 10-3 for the season losing to South Dakota State in the FCS Semifinals.
