The San Antonio Brahmas signed wide receiver Juwan Green on Friday according to Fox Sports.
Juwan Green is six foot and weighs 187 pounds. The 26-year-old from Martinsburg, West Virginia, signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent on April 27, 2020. There were no preseason games played in 2020 due to COVID-19.
In 2021, he made five catches for 78 yards, and one touchdown in three preseason games. The Falcons released him on November 5, 2021. He also spent time with the Detroit Lions and the Tennessee Titans.
The Seattle Sea Dragons drafted Green in the third round (22nd pick) in Phase 1 of the 2023 XFL Draft. In 2023, he made 29 catches for 420 yards and six touchdowns in ten games. The Sea Dragons released him on August 21, 2023, and he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on August 22, 2023. He played one preseason game recording no stats. The Chiefs released him on August 29, 2023.
Collegiately, Green played two seasons at Lackawanna College (2016-17) making 53 catches for 1,130 yards, 10 touchdowns, nine kick returns for 412 yards, two touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 18 games for the Falcons. He was named First Team All-NEC in 2016 and was the Team MVP in 2017.
Then, he transferred to the University of Albany (2018-19) making 106 catches for 1,815 yards, 21 touchdowns, five carries for 53 yards, seven kick returns for 163 yards, and four tackles (4 solo) in 23 games for the Great Danes. He was named First Team All-ECAC, First Team All-CAA, First Team All-American by Phil Steele, and First Team All-American by STATS.
