The Calgary Stampeders signed offensive lineman Deiyantei Powell-Woods on Thursday.
Deiyantei Powell-Woods is six foot five and weighs 300 pounds. The 24-year-old from Bluefield, West Virginia, went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Collegiately, Powell-Woods played five seasons at Central Michigan (2019-23) playing left guard and right guard in 51 games, of which 38 were starts for the Chippewas. In 2023, Central Michigan averaged 23.17 points per game, 159.4 rushing yards per game, 184.67 passing yards per game, 344.1 total yards per game, 37 touchdowns, and allowed 26 sacks finishing 5-7 for the season. He was named Second Team All-MAC in 2023, and Third Team All-MAC in 2022.
