The San Antonio Brahams transferred linebacker Jordan Ferguson to the retired list on Friday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Jordan Ferguson is six foot two and weighs 271 pounds. The 25-year-old from Atlanta, Georgia, re-signed with the Showboats on September 29, 2023. In 2024, Ferguson made 45 tackles (31 solos, 14 assists), 7 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and one fumble recovery in 10 games.
The Showboats re-signed Ferguson on August 26, 2024. The Showboats traded Ferguson to the San Antonio Brahmas on October 24, 2024, for quarterback Quinton Dormady.
The Memphis Showboats signed Ferguson as a free agent on May 25, 2023. He made seven tackles (3 solos, 4 assists), one tackle for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in four games for the Showboats in 2023. After the season, Ferguson signed with the Seattle Seahawks. He played three preseason games with nine tackles (4 solo, 5 assists) and one sack.
Collegiately, Ferguson played five seasons at Middle Tennessee State (2017-22) making 214 tackles (115 solos, 99 assists), 46.5 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, two interceptions for five yards, nine pass breakups, five forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick in 59 games for the Blue Raiders. He was named First Team All-Conference USA in 2022.
