The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed defensive back Kerfalla Exume on Tuesday.
Kerfalla Exume is six foot and weighs 197 pounds. The 30-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, signed with the Toronto Argonauts on February 13, 2024. In 2024, he made eight tackles on special team in 12 games helping the Argonauts win the 111th Grey Cup.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers drafted Exume in the eighth round (70th pick) in the 2019 CFL Draft. In his rookie season, Exume made 25 tackles in 18 games for the Blue Bombers when they won the 2019 Grey Cup.
The Montreal Alouettes signed Exume on February 10, 2021. In 2021, He played two seasons in Montreal making three tackles and 21 tackles on special teams in 32 games. The Alouettes released him on June 30, 2023. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed Exume on July 5, 2023. In 2023, he made two tackles and 17 tackles on special teams in 14 games.
Collegiately, Exume played four seasons at the University of Montreal (2015-18) making 29 tackles (23 solos, 6 assists), two interceptions, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 23 games for the Carabins.
