The Arlington Renegades signed defensive lineman Chris Odom and placed running back Devin Darrington on the retired list on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Chris Odom is six foot three and weighs 262 pounds. The 30-year-old from Arlington, Texas, re-signed with the Houston Roughnecks on December 26, 2023. In 2024, he made 32 tackles (21 solos, 11 assists), eight tackles for loss, and five sacks in nine games. He was named to the All-UFL Team. The Roughnecks released him on February 3, 2025.

The Atlanta Falcons signed Odom as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2017. In 2017, he made 17 tackles (13 solos, 4 assists), and two sacks in four preseason games. The Falcons released him on September 2, 2017. The Green Bay Packers acquired Odom via waivers on September 3, 2017. He made six tackles (3 solos, 3 assists) in seven regular season games.

Odom also spent time with the Washington Redskins. In 2019, he played for the Salt Lake Stallions (AAF) making 10 tackles (7 solos, 3 assists) and 2.5 sacks in eight games. In 2021, Odom signed with the Calgary Stampeders making five tackles (5 solos) in three games.

The Houston Gamblers drafted Odom in the second round (12th pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft. In 2022, he made 41 tackles (29 solos, 12 assists), eight tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, and one pass breakup for the Houston Gamblers in 2022.

He was named USFL Defensive Player of the Year and the All-USFL Team. The Gamblers released him on August 5, 2022, and he signed with the Cleveland Browns on August 6, 2022. However, Odom tore his ACL during training camp and did not play football in 2023.

Collegiately, Odom played four seasons at Arkansas State (2013-16) making 87 tackles (49 solos, 38 assists), 23 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and four pass breakups in 40 games for the Red Wolves. He was named First Team All-Sun Belt in 2016.

Devin Darrington is five foot nine and weighs 205 pounds. The 26-year-old from Forest Hill, Maryland, had 67 carries for 294 yards, four touchdowns, and nine catches for 85 yards in seven games for the Orlando Guardians in 2023.

The Arlington Renegades drafted Darrington in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft and he was released on March 21, 2024. Darrington re-signed with the Renegades on May 7, 2024. In 2024, Darrington had 19 carries for 74 yards, and one catch for -5 yards in four games. The Renegades re-signed Darrington on September 27, 2024.

Collegiately, Darrington played three seasons at Harvard University (2017-19) with 259 carries for 1,177 yards, 12 touchdowns, and eight catches for 70 yards in 22 games for the Crimson. He was named Second Team All-Ivy League in 2019. Then, Darrington transferred to Virginia in 2021 with 32 carries for 237 yards, two touchdowns, and four catches for 53 yards in 12 games for the Cavaliers.
