
The Toronto Argonauts signed defensive back Jai Nunn-Liddell on Tuesday.
Jai Nunn-Liddell is six foot three and weighs 194 pounds. The 26-year-old from Mableton, Georgia, attended the Baltimore Ravens rookie minicamp in 2023. He also took part in the XFL Combine in Arlington, Texas, in 2023.
The Houston Gamblers signed Nunn-Liddell on August 22, 2023, before the team was renamed the Houston Roughnecks. In 2024, he made four tackles (3 solos, 1 assist) in four games. The Roughnecks released him on July 24, 2024.
Collegiately, Nunn-Liddell spent one season at Troy University in 2016 but did not see any action for the Trojans. Next, he transferred to Bowling Green University (2018-19) making one tackle (1 solo) in nine games for the Falcons.
Then, he transferred to Kentucky State University in 2022 making 16 tackles (10 solos, 6 assists), one interception for 20 yards, six pass breakups, and one blocked kick in nine games for the Thorobreds. After the season, he played in the 2023 HBCU Legacy Bowl.
