The Rhein Fire re-signed defensive back Darrius Nash on Wednesday.

Darrius Nash is six foot one and weighs 205 pounds. The 25-year-old from Los Angeles, California, signed with the Rhein Fire on January 25, 2024. In 2024, he made nine tackles (8 solos, 1 assist), one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup in four games as the Fire went on to win its second consecutive ELF Championship over the Vienna Vikings.

Nash attended the New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp in 2023. Next, the Vegas Vipers (XFL) drafted Nash in the 2023 XFL Rookie Draft. He became a free agent when the Vipers were not included in the USFL and XFL merger forming the United Football League.

Collegiately, Nash played five seasons at Utah Tech (2018-22) making 214 tackles (130 solos, 84 assists), 13.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, four interceptions for 175 yards, one touchdown, 22 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 47 games for the Trailblazers.
