
The Memphis Showboats signed wide receiver Eli Stove on Thursday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Eli Stove is six foot and weighs 191 pounds. The 27-year-old from Niceville, Florida, signed with the Ottawa Redblacks on February 27, 2024. In 2024, he made nine catches for 79 yards, five kick returns for 123 yards, and seven punt returns for 98 yards in four games. The Redblacks released him on February 24, 2025.
The Los Angeles Chargers signed Stove as an undrafted free agent in 2021. However, during the team’s minicamp, Stove tore his ACL and missed the season. The New Orleans Breakers signed Stove as a free agent on October 18, 2022. In 2023, he made five catches for 61 yards and 29 kick returns for 750 yards in ten games. In the 2023 USFL playoffs against the Birmingham Stallions, Stove made one catch for 14 yards, and two kick returns for 15 yards.
Collegiately, Stove played five seasons at Auburn (2016-20) making 136 catches for 1,186 yards, six touchdowns, 55 carries for 554 yards, four touchdowns, three kick returns for 93 yards, and four punt returns for 30 yards in 52 games for the Tigers.
