The Cologne Centurions signed defensive back Alexandre Alteus on Tuesday.
Alexandre Alteus is six foot one and weighs 240 pounds. The 24-year-old from Morehead City, North Carolina, went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Collegiately, Alteus played one season at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2019 making one tackle (1 assist), one blocked kick, and one punt return for 24 yards in eight games for the Braves.
Next, he transferred to Stetson University (2020-22) making 60 tackles (28 solos, 32 assists), 12.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception for 22 yards, six pass breakups, and three forced fumbles in 18 games for the Hatters. He was named an All-Pioneer Football League Honorable Mention in 2022.
Then, he transferred to Eastern Illinois University in 2023 making five tackles (2 solos, 3 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack in 10 games for the Panthers.
