
The Toronto Argonauts released offensive lineman Ryan Coll on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Ryan Coll is six foot five and weighs 324 pounds. The 24-year-old from Gainesville, Virginia, signed with the Toronto Argonauts on March 4, 2025.
The Atlanta Falcons signed Coll as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. The Falcons released him on July 24, 2024. Next, the Indianapolis Colts signed Coll on August 7, 2024. He suffered a shoulder injury and missed the entire 2024 season. Coll became a free agent after the 2024 season.
Collegiately, Coll played five seasons at the University of Richmond (2019-23) starting as a tight end before moving to offensive line. He made one catch for 15 yards, two carries for -2 yards, and three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in 38 games for the Spiders.
In 2023, Richmond averaged 28.15 points per game, 131.8 rushing yards per game, 213.77 passing yards per game, 345.5 total yards per game, 48 touchdowns, and allowed 33 sacks finishing 9-4 for the season making it to the second round of the FCS Playoffs.
Coll was named a two-time First Team All-CAA, Second Team FCS All-American in 2022, and Third Team All-CAA in 2023.
