The Calgary Stampeders signed running back Deshaun Fenwick on Friday.
Deshaun Fenwick is six foot one and weighs 223 pounds. The 25-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky, signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he had seven carries for 26 yards and one catch for -1 yard in one preseason game. The Patriots released him on August 26, 2024.
The Green Bay Packers signed Fenwick on December 24, 2024, and finished the season on the practice squad. He became a free agent after the 2024 season.
Collegiately, Fenwick played three seasons at South Carolina (2018-20) with 97 carries for 523 yards, two touchdowns, 14 catches for 108 yards, and one tackle (1 assist) in 35 games for the Gamecocks.
Then, he transferred to Oregon State (2021-23) with 288 carries for 1,516 yards, 16 touchdowns, 17 catches for 105 yards, two touchdowns, and one kick return for five yards in 35 games for the Beavers. In 2023, he had 96 carries for 515 yards, five touchdowns, nine catches for 76 yards, two touchdowns, and one kick return for five yards in 13 games.
