
The Edmonton Elks signed defensive lineman Joshua Landry on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Joshua Landry is six foot three and weighs 287 pounds. A native of Houston, Texas, Landry attended the Detroit Lions rookie minicamp in 2024.
Collegiately, Landry played three seasons at Baylor (2019-21) making 19 tackles (14 solos, 5 assists), three tackles for loss, two sacks, and one blocked kick in 25 games for the Bears.
Then, he transferred to Missouri (2022-23) making 45 tackles (22 solos, 23 assists), five tackles for loss, and half a sack in 25 games for the Tigers. In 2023, he made 32 tackles (16 solos, 16 assists), and 2.5 tackles for loss in 13 games.
