
The ARCA Menards Series visited Phoenix Raceway on Friday night in the General Tire 150. Joe Gibbs Racing driver Brent Crews started the race on the pole with Tanner Reif of Central Coast Racing starting in the second position. Reif finished in 13th place.
Brent Crews led the opening 33 laps until the caution came out when Robbie Kennealy blew a left front tire and hit the wall at Turn 1. Despite the hit, he was able to continue the race. For the next 42 laps, the lead would change hands between Crews and Brenden Queen.
On lap 90, the fourth caution came out when Patrick Staropoli spun around at Turn 1. In the closing laps of the race, Brenden Queen was lead when the caution came out with one lap to go when Tim Viens spun around at Turn 4 sending the race to overtime.
In overtime, Thad Moffitt turned Tyler Reif into the wall on the front stretch for the final caution of the night. On the restart, Crews made slight contact with Queen to win the race by .16 seconds for his first win of the season.
The rest of the top ten finishers were Treyten Lapcevich third, Lawless Alan fourth, Lavar Scott fifth, Kole Raz sixth, Thad Moffitt seventh, Patrick Staropoli eighth, Robbie Kennealy ninth, and Corey Day tenth. There were six cautions for 46 laps and seven lead changes among three drivers. Brenden Queen led the most laps in the race (96), and Brent Crews led a total of 67 laps.
