The Memphis Showboats signed quarterback Dresser Winn on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Dresser Winn is six foot three and weighs 215 pounds. The 26-year-old from Dresden, Tennessee, re-signed with the Los Angeles Rams on November 1, 2023. He finished the season on the practice squad. In 2024, he completed 9 of 16 passes (56.2%) for 72 yards, and three carries for 20 yards in one preseason game against the Houston Texans. The Rams released him on August 25, 2024.
The Los Angeles Rams signed Winn as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 2023. In 2023, he completed 3 of 5 passes (60%) for 21 yards in one preseason game against the Denver Broncos. The Rams released him on August 29, 2023. Next, he signed with the Edmonton Elks on September 30, 2023. He spent several weeks on the practice before the Elks released him on October 17, 2023.
Collegiately, Winn played six seasons at the University of Tennessee-Martin (2017-22) completing 492 of 814 passes (60%) for 5,800 yards, 37 touchdowns, 24 interceptions, 174 carries for 164 yards, nine touchdowns, punting the ball 26 times for 1,044 yards (40.2 AVG), three touchbacks, nine fair catches, eight from inside the 20-yard line, and five from 50-plus yards in 32 games for the Skyhawks. He was named Second Team All-OVC in 2022.
