
The Nordic Storm signed wide receiver Brendan Beaulieu on Monday.
Brendan Beaulieu is six foot three and weighs 215 pounds. The 25-year-old from Cottage Grove, Minnesota, signed with the Potsdam Royals (GFL) on March 25, 2024. In 2024, he made 97 catches for 1,647 yards, 27 touchdowns, and two tackles (2 solos) in 15 games helping to go 15-0 for the season on their way to winning the GFL Championship over the Dresden Monarchs 27-21.
Beaulieu went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Beaulieu on May 20, 2023. In 2023, he played in two preseason games recording no stats. The Blue Bombers released him on June 4, 2023.
Collegiately, Beaulieu played four seasons at Bemidji State University (2018-19, 2021-22) making 215 catches for 3,725 yards, 38 touchdowns, 23 carries for 85 yards, one touchdown, completed one of three passes (33%) for 75 yards, one touchdown, seven tackles (4 solos, 3 assists), and one fumble recovery in 47 games for the Beavers.
In his junior season, he was named Division II All-Super Region 4 after making 76 catches for 1,318 yards, and 13 touchdowns in 13 games. In 2022, he made 82 catches for 1,504 yards and 19 touchdowns in 13 games. He was named team captain in 2022, First Team Division II All-American, First Team All-American by the Associated Press, and First Team Division II All-Super Region 4.
