The San Antonio Brahmas signed wide receiver Izaiah Gathings and offensive lineman Vitaliy Gurman on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Izaiah Gathings is six foot four and weighs 222 pounds. The 24-year-old from Statesville, North Carolina, signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 15, 2023. The Jets released him on July 22, 2023, and he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on July 30, 2023. In 2023, he made one catch for five yards in three games. The Chiefs released him on August 29, 2023.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed Gathings on May 29, 2024, and released him on June 5, 2024. He re-signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on July 21, 2024, and they released him again on August 2, 2024.

Collegiately, Gathings played three seasons at Gardner-Webb University (2018-20) making 101 catches for 1,341 yards, 14 touchdowns, and four tackles (2 solos, 2 assists) in 24 games for the Bulldogs. Then, he transferred to Middle Tennessee State (2021-22) making 84 catches for 861 yards, and three touchdowns in 24 games for the Blue Raiders. He was named an All-CUSA Honorable Mention in 2022.

Vitaliy Gurman is six foot four and weighs 310 pounds. The 26-year-old from Rochester, New York, signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent on May 16, 2022. He also spent time with the Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, and the New York Jets. He played two preseason games for the Chiefs in 2022 and three preseason games for the Raiders in 2023.

Collegiately, Gurman played four seasons at Edinboro University (2016-19) playing center in 32 games for the Fighting Scots. In 2019, Edinboro averaged 19.1 points per game, 79.6 rushing yards per game, 174.1 passing yards per game, 253.7 total yards per game, 18 touchdowns, and allowed 17 sacks finishing 3-8 for the season. He was named First Team All-PSAC in 2019.

Then, he transferred to Toledo (2020-21) playing left tackle in 18 games for the Rockets. In 2021, Toledo averaged 33.38 points per game, 196.8 rushing yards per game, 239.38 passing yards per game, 436.2 total yards per game, 56 touchdowns, and allowed 36 sacks finishing 7-6 for the season appearing in the Bahamas Bowl.
