The San Antonio Brahmas signed defensive tackle Marquan McCall on Tuesday according to Pro Football Newsroom reporter James Larsen.
Marquan McCall is six foot three and weighs 345 pounds. The 25-year-old from Detroit, Michigan, signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on January 8, 2024. In 2024, he made three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) in three preseason games. The Raiders released him on December 12, 2024.
The Carolina Panthers signed McCall as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2022. In 2022, he made five tackles (4 solos, 1 assist), and one sack in three preseason games. In the regular season, he made 15 tackles (7 solos, 8 assists), and two tackles for loss in 16 games. In 2023, he made five tackles (2 solos, 3 assists) in two preseason games. The Panthers released him on August 21, 2023.
The New England Patriots acquired McCall via waivers on August 22, 2023, and released him two days. The Las Vegas Raiders signed McCall on December 20, 2023. He finished the season on the practice squad.
Collegiately, McCall played four seasons at Kentucky (2018-21) making 57 tackles (27 solos, 30 assists), 10 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup in 40 games for the Wildcats.
