The Philadelphia Eagles signed running back A.J. Dillon to a one-year contract on Wednesday.

A.J. Dillon is six foot and weighs 247 pounds. The 26-year-old from Baltimore, Maryland, re-signed with the Green Bay Packers on March 15, 2024. However, he suffered a season-ending neck injury and became a free agent after the 2024 season.

The Green Bay Packers drafted Dillon in the second round (62nd pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played four seasons in Green Bay with 597 carries for 2,428 yards, 16 touchdowns, 86 catches for 763 yards, two touchdowns, two tackles (2 solos), three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 60 games.

In 2023, he had 178 carries for 613 yards, two touchdowns, 22 catches for 223 yards, one tackle (1 solo), one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 17 games.

Collegiately, Dillon played three seasons at Boston College (2017-19) with 845 carries for 4,382 yards (125.2 AVG/G), 38 touchdowns, 21 catches for 236 yards, and two touchdowns in 22 games for the Eagles.

He is Boston College’s all-time leading rusher. Dillon was named a three-time First Team All-ACC (2017-19), ACC Rookie of the Year (2017), and Third Team All-American (2019).
