The Arlington Renegades signed wide receiver Brandon Arconado and released wide receiver Todd Simmons Jr. on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page. In addition, they placed WR Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi on injured reserve.

Brandon Arconado is six foot and weighs 193 pounds. The 27-year-old from Chino Hills, California, was drafted by the Dallas Renegades in the fourth round (26th pick) in Phase 2 of the 2023 XFL Draft. In 2023, he made 25 catches for 200 yards in 10 games helping the Renegades win the XFL Championship against the D.C. Defenders.

Arconado went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2021, he played for the Blues (TSL) making four catches for 41 yards in six games. Next, he signed with the Ottawa Redblacks on April 18, 2022. The Redblacks released him on June 5, 2022.

Collegiately, Arconado played one season at Chaffey Community College in 2015 making 15 catches for 296 yards, three touchdowns, one carry for 20 yards, and 22 punt returns for 197 yards in 10 games for the Panthers.

Then, he transferred to Washington State (2017-19) making 82 catches for 1,182 yards, eight touchdowns, and three tackles (3 solos) in 28 games for the Cougars.

Todd Simmons Jr. is six foot one and weighs 190 pounds. A native of Washington, D.C., Simmons Jr. went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft and attended the Chicago Bears and Las Vegas Raiders rookie minicamps. Next, Simmons Jr. had signed with the Arlington Renegades before the XFL and USFL merged to form the United Football League (UFL).

Simmons Jr. went unprotected and became a free agent. Then, he took his talents to indoor football playing for the Jersey Bearcats (AAL) and the Harrisburg Stampede (AIF) where he scored 12 touchdowns in eight games. After the season, he signed with the Baltimore Ravens on July 6, 2024. The Arlington Renegades signed Simmons Jr. on September 12, 2024.

Collegiately, Simmons played at Wagner in 2021 making nine catches for 130 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in seven games for the Falcons. Then, he transferred to the University of Dubuque in 2022 making 42 catches for 548 yards, and four touchdowns in 10 games for the Spartans.

Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi is six foot and weighs 181 pounds. The 30-year-old from Orlando, Florida, signed with the Cleveland Browns on April 5, 2019. In 2019, he made three catches for 21 yards, one kick return for 26 yards, six punt returns for 116 yards, and one touchdown in four preseason games. The Browns released him on August 31, 2019.

Sheehy-Guiseppi also spent time with the Alphas (TSL) and the New York Guardians (XFL) in 2020, and the Ottawa Redblacks in 2021. In 2022, he was set to play for the Arkansas Attack (MLF) but the league canceled the season.

In 2023, he played for the Legnano Frogs (Italian Football League) leading the league in receptions, yards, and receiving touchdowns on his way to being named the Offensive Player of the Year. The Arlington Renegades signed Sheehy-Guiseppi on December 4, 2024.

Collegiately, Sheehy-Guiseppi played two seasons at Phoenix College (2015-16) making three catches for 26 yards, 25 carries for 148 yards, one touchdown, 39 kick returns for 1,278 yards, four touchdowns, 26 punt returns for 400 yards, and two touchdowns in 11 games for the Bears. He was named NJCAA All-American in 2016.
