
The NASCAR Xfinity Series visited Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon sponsored by The LiUNA! JR Motorsports drivers Sammy Smith started on the pole and Carson Kvapil started in the second position.
On the opening lap of Stage 1, Joe Gibbs Racing driver William Sawalich got loose at the exit of Turn 2 hitting the wall while Parker Retzlaff of Alpha Prime Racing was in a separate incident bringing out the first caution of the day. Sammy Smith led the opening 13 laps, and Justin Allgaier led 34 laps to win Stage 1.
After Stage 1 was complete, Ty Dillon substituted for Josh Williams, who was dealing with an illness. In Stage 2, Aric Almirola dominated leading 38 laps to win the stage over Justin Allgaier.
In the final stage, Connor Zilisch led 27 laps until lap 126 when Justin Allgaier used a lap-down car to pass him for the lead. Zilisch battled back to reclaim the lead on lap 145 before Allgaier got it back a lap later. Shortly after, Aric Almirola passed Zilisch for second place and began to close in on Allgaier. Justin Allgaier led the final 49 laps to win his first race of the season by 1.067 seconds over Almirola.
The rest of the top ten finishers were Jesse Love third, Austin Hill fourth, Sam Mayer fifth, Brandon Jones sixth, Ryan Seig seventh, Harrison Burton eighth, Connor Zilisch ninth, and Sheldon Creed tenth. There were seven lead changes among four drivers. Justin Allgaier led the most laps in the race (102), and there were three cautions for 18 laps.
