The Edmonton Elks signed defensive back Chris Jackson on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Chris Jackson is five foot ten and weighs 193 pounds. The 26-year-old from Minneapolis, Minnesota, signed with the Birmingham Stallions on December 19, 2023. He made 17 tackles (13 solos, 4 assists) in four games in 2024 before being placed on injured reserve and missed the rest of the season. The Stallions re-signed Jackson on August 29, 2024, and released him on January 22, 2025.

The Tennessee Titans drafted Jackson in the seventh round (243rd pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played three seasons with the Tennessee Titans making 59 tackles (44 solos, 15 assists), two tackles for loss, and five pass breakups in 24 games, of which six were starts.

Collegiately, Jackson played four seasons at Marshall University (2016-19) making 189 tackles (110 solos, 79 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, seven interceptions for 200 yards, one touchdown, 45 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries in 49 games for the Thundering Herd.
