The Philadelphia Eagles signed linebacker Azeez Ojulari to a one-year contract through the 2025 season on Monday.

Azeez Ojulari is six foot four and weighs 240 pounds. The 24-year-old from Austell, Georgia, made 28 tackles (12 solos, 16 assists), seven tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits, six sacks, and one fumble recovery in 11 games. He missed most of the season with a toe injury.

The New York Giants drafted Ojulari in the second round (50th pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played four seasons in New York making 107 tackles (59 solos, 48 assists), 21 tackles for loss, 37 quarterback hits, 22 sacks, three pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 46 games, of which 30 were starts. In his playing career, he has dealt with numerous injuries including toe, ankle, and calf.

Collegiately, Ojulari played three seasons at Georgia (2018-20) making 71 tackles (41 solos, 30 assists), 19.5 tackles for loss, 14 sacks, three pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 27 games for the Bulldogs.

He was named Second Team All-SEC in 2020, Fourth Team All-American by Phil Steele in 2020, and a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award in 2020.
