The NTT IndyCar Series held qualifying on Saturday to set the field for Sunday’s The Thermal Club Indy Grand Prix in Thermal, California.
Arrow McLaren driver Pato O’Ward won the pole with a lap of 1:39.9567 seconds at 110.460 mph. It was his first pole of the season and first pole since 2022 at Mid-Ohio. Joining him on the front row is his teammate Christian Lundgaard with a lap time of 1:40.1245 seconds at 110.275 mph.
