The B.C. Lions signed wide receiver Victor Bolden Jr. and released wide receiver Jaivian Lofton on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Victor Bolden Jr. is five foot eight and weighs 178 pounds. The 29-year-old from Rancho Cucamonga, California, re-signed with the Birmingham Stallions on September 26, 2023. The Stallions released him on March 21, 2024.

The San Francisco 49ers signed Bolden as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He also had stints with the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions.

The Birmingham Stallions drafted Bolden in the 13th round (102nd pick) of the 2022 USFL Draft. Bolden made 42 catches for 415 yards, one touchdown, 25 kick returns for 618 yards, and 41 punt returns for 176 yards in nine games for the Stallions in 2022.

In the playoffs, Bolden made seven catches for 66 yards, one touchdown, seven kick returns for 258 yards, and one touchdown. He helped the Stallions win the USFL Championship in 2022 and was named MVP. In addition, he made the USFL All-Star Team.

The Arlington Renegades signed Bolden on March 22, 2023. In 2023, he made three catches for 40 yards in two games for the Arlington Renegades winning the XFL Championship over the D.C. Defenders. After the XFL season, Bolden Jr. spent time with the Denver Broncos and the Houston Texans.

Collegiately, Bolden played four seasons at Oregon State (2013-16) making 170 catches for 1,863 yards, seven touchdowns, 95 carries for 727 yards, three touchdowns, 108 kick returns for 2,420 yards, three touchdowns, 19 punt returns for 186 yards, and one touchdown in 48 games for the Beavers.

Jaivian Lofton is six foot one and weighs 200 pounds. The 25-year-old from Rancho Cucamonga, California, went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. The B.C. Lions signed Lofton on January 10, 2025.

Collegiately, Lofton played two seasons at Chaffey College (2018-19) making 72 catches for 1,584 yards, two carries for 10 yards, and 14 tackles (12 solos, 2 assists) in 21 games for the Panthers.

Next, he played three seasons at Liberty (2020-22) making 16 catches for 204 yards, three touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 17 games for the Flames. Then, he transferred to Utah Tech in 2023 making 15 catches for 204 yards, and two touchdowns in eight games for the Trailblazers.
