
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series visited Martinsville Speedway on Friday night in the Boys and Girls Club of Blue Ridge 200. Tricon Garage driver Corey Heim started the race on the pole with ThorSport Racing driver Ty Majeski starting in the second position.
On lap 187, Kayden Honeycutt and Ty Majeski made contact sending them both spinning at Turn 1 with 12 laps to go. It was one of 10 cautions of the night for 69 laps. Majeski finished in 13th place.
Tyler Ankrum was the new leader with eight laps to go. On lap 196, Daniel Hemric challenged Ankrum for the lead and a lap later passed for the lead. Hemric led the final three laps to beat Ankrum by 0.544 seconds. Hemric led four laps in this race. This was his first career win in the Craftsman Truck Series.
The rest of the top ten finishers were Jake Garcia third, Chandler Smith fourth, Ben Rhodes fifth, Corey Heim sixth, Andres Perez seventh, Rajah Caruth eighth, Stewart Friesen ninth, and Lawless Allen tenth. There were five lead changes among four drivers and Corey Heim led the most laps (149).
