Lehigh Valley IronPigs start road trip with a blowout loss in Rochester

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (2-2) started its first road trip of the 2025 season on Tuesday against the Rochester Red Wings (2-1) from Innovative Field. Nabil Crismatt was on the mound for Lehigh Valley against Shinnosuke Ogasawara of Rochester.

Crismatt had a rough afternoon pitching four innings, allowing eight hits, six runs, five earned runs, two walks, and two strikeouts throwing 77 pitches, of which 48 were strikes as the Red Wings beat the IronPigs 10-1. It was Crismatt’s first loss of the season.

Lehigh Valley catcher Payton Henry went 0 for 3 with a sacrifice fly that scored Justin Crawford. Crawford went 1 for 4 with a triple, and Otto Kemp went 2 for 4 with a double.

Rochester catcher Drew Millas had a monster day going 3 for 4 with two triples, a walk, a home run, and five RBIs. Rochester center fielder Robert Hassell III went 3 for 5 with a double, a stolen base, and an RBI. Starting pitcher Shinnosuke Ogasawara earned his first win of the season pitching six innings, allowing five hits, one run, and six strikeouts throwing 67 pitches, of which 47 were strikes.
