The Montreal Alouettes signed wide receiver Camron Johnson on Tuesday.

Camron Johnson is six foot and weighs 202 pounds. The 25-year-old from Nashville, Tennessee, signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, Johnson made six catches for 32 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in three preseason games. The Cowboys released him on August 26, 2024. The Carolina Panthers signed Johnson to the practice squad on November 6, 2024. They released him on November 12, 2024.

Collegiately, Johnson played four seasons at Vanderbilt (2018-21) making 124 catches for 1,233 yards, 10 touchdowns, three carries for no yards, seven kick returns for 114 yards, 14 punt returns for 104 yards, and three tackles (3 solos) in 37 games for the Commodores.

Next, Johnson transferred to Arizona State in 2022 making 10 catches for 84 yards, and one punt return for nine yards in 12 games for the Sun Devils.

Then, he transferred to Northwestern University in 2023 making 54 catches for 715 yards, six touchdowns, one carry for eight yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 13 games for the Wildcats. He finished sixth in the Big Ten in receptions and eighth in receiving yards.
