The Birmingham Stallions re-signed tight end Marcus Baugh on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page. This re-signing comes after the Stallions placed La’Michael Pettway on injured reserve.

Marcus Baugh is six foot four and weighs 246 pounds. The 30-year-old from Riverside, California, was drafted by the Birmingham Stallions in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft.

In 2024, he made four catches for 76 yards, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 10 games helping the Stallions win their third consecutive championship (2 USFL, 1 UFL). The Stallions re-signed him on August 14, 2024, and released him on March 20, 2025.

Baugh signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He would also spend time with the Carolina Panthers, Washington Football Team, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2019, he played for the San Diego Fleet (AAF) with 13 catches for 208 yards, and two touchdowns in eight games, of which four were starts.

The Michigan Panthers drafted Baugh in the third round (300th pick) of the 2022 USFL Supplemental Draft. In 2022, Baugh made 12 catches for 101 yards, and one touchdown in eight games for the Panthers. In 2023, he made 18 catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns in ten games. In the playoffs, Baugh was targeted one time against the Pittsburgh Maulers.

After the season, Baugh signed with the New Orleans Breakers. He became a free agent when the Breakers were not included in the USFL and XFL merger forming the United Football League.

Collegiately, Baugh played four seasons at Ohio State (2014-17) with 55 catches for 607 yards, eight touchdowns, and one carry for five yards in 27 games for the Buckeyes.
