The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receiver Geordon Porter and offensive lineman Aidan Hemphill on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Geordon Porter is six foot one and weighs 195 pounds. The 24-year-old from Rancho Cucamonga, California, attended the New York Giants and New York Jets rookie minicamp in 2024.

Collegiately, Porter played four seasons at Arizona State (2018-21) making 14 catches for 250 yards, one touchdown, one carry for -14 yards, and four kick returns for 110 yards in 22 games for the Sun Devils. Next, he transferred to New Mexico State in 2022 making 22 catches for 312 yards, two touchdowns, and two carries for seven yards in eight games for the Lobos.

Then, he transferred to the University of Connecticut in 2023 making 22 catches for 213 yards, one touchdown, and five carries for 40 yards in 12 games for the Huskies.

Aidan Hemphill is six foot five and weighs 290 pounds. A native of Houston, Texas, Hemphill attended the Indianapolis Colts rookie minicamp in 2024.

Collegiately, Hemphill played six seasons at Texas Southern University (2018-23) playing left tackle and right tackle in 34 games for the Tigers. In 2023, he started 11 games. Texas Southern averaged 26.18 points per game, 189.8 rushing yards per game, 181.64 passing yards per game, 371.5 total yards per game, 37 touchdowns, and allowed 22 sacks finishing 3-8 for the season. Hemphill played in the 2024 HBCU Legacy Bowl.
