
The Birmingham Stallions signed linebacker Delontae Scott on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Delontae Scott is six foot five and weighs 246 pounds. The 28-year-old from Irving, Texas, re-signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on January 22, 2024. In 2024, he made 16 tackles (10 solos, 6 assists), four tackles for loss, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in seven games. In the 2024 UFL playoffs, Scott made seven tackles (3 solos, 4 assists).
The Green Bay Packers signed Scott as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2020. He also spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers. He appeared in three regular season games recording no stats.
The San Antonio Brahmas drafted Scott in the fourth round (31st pick) of the 2023 XFL Supplemental Draft. In 2023, he made 36 tackles (18 solos, 18 assists), 11 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, three pass breaks, and two forced fumbles in eight games.
He was named to the All-XFL Team. The Brahmas released him on August 15, 2023, and he signed with the Atlanta Falcons on August 16, 2023. He made four tackles (3 solos, 1 assist), and half a sack in three preseason games. The Falcons released him on August 26, 2023.
Collegiately, Scott played four seasons at SMU (2016-19) making 97 tackles (68 solos, 29 assists), 36 tackles for loss, 18 sacks, two pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and one blocked kick in 40 games for the Mustangs. He was named Second Team All-AAC in 2019.
