The D.C. Defenders re-signed defensive back Josh Proctor on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Josh Proctor is six foot one and weighs 199 pounds. The 26-year-old from Owasso, Oklahoma, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he played three preseason games recording no stats. The Jaguars released him on August 27, 2024.

The D.C. Defenders signed Proctor on December 5, 2024. He attended training camp before the Defenders released him on March 20, 2025.

Collegiately, Proctor played six seasons at Ohio State (2018-23) making 112 tackles (75 solos, 37 assists), 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions for 24 yards, one touchdown, 17 pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 53 games for the Buckeyes.
