Report: Birmingham Stallions sign quarterback Andrew Peasley

The Birmingham Stallions signed quarterback Andrew Peasley on Wednesday according to Pat Rifino. Peasley is listed as a third-string quarterback for the Stallions.

Andrew Peasley is six foot two and weighs 218 pounds. The 25-year-old from La Grande, Oregon, signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2024. In 2024, he completed 20 of 33 passes (60.6%) for 181 yards, one touchdown, and seven carries for 24 yards in three preseason games. The Jets released him on August 27, 2024.

Collegiately, Peasley played four seasons at Utah State (2018-21) completing 70 of 130 passes (54%) for 830 yards, seven touchdowns, five interceptions, 57 carries for 515 yards, and three touchdowns in 19 games for the Aggies.

Then, Peasley transferred to Wyoming (2022-23) completing 226 of 381 passes (59%) for 2,548 yards, 22 touchdowns, nine interceptions, 141 carries for 607 yards, and eight touchdowns in 17 games for the Cowboys. He was named an All-MWC Honorable Mention in 2022.
