The Calgary Stampeders signed defensive back Jaydon Grant on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Jaydon Grant is six foot and weighs 190 pounds. The 26-year-old from Portland, Oregon, signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he made six tackles (5 solos, 1 assist) in three preseason games. In 2024, he made 15 tackles (10 solos, 5 assists), and one pass breakup in three preseason games. The Raiders released him on August 27, 2024.
Collegiately, Grant played six seasons at Oregon State (2017-22) making 223 tackles (128 solos, 95 assists), 10 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, nine interceptions for 36 yards, one touchdown, 28 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, one block punt return for 11 yards, and one touchdown in 57 games for the Beavers. He was named Second Team All-Pac 12 in 2022 and First Team All-Pac 12 by PFF in 2022.
