Edmonton Elks sign defensive lineman Tomari Fox

The Edmonton Elks signed defensive lineman Tomari Fox on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Tomari Fox is six foot two and weighs 288 pounds. The 24-year-old from Lawrenceville, Georgia, signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. He suffered an injury during training camp and did not play in 2024. The Raiders released him on March 7, 2025.

Collegiately, Fox played five seasons at North Carolina (2019-23) making 100 tackles (44 solos, 56 assists), 10.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in 49 games for the Tar Heels. In 2023, he made 14 tackles (6 solos, 8 assists), 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack in 13 games. He was named to the All-ACC Academic Team in 2020.
