
The NASCAR Xfinity Series visited Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon in the SciAps 300. Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson started the race on the pole with JR Motorsports driver Connor Zilisch starting second.
In Stage 1, Kyle Larson led the opening 78 laps. There were two cautions during the stage. On the third lap, Harrison Burton suffered a flat tire and Mason Maggio experienced issues as well leading to the first caution of the race.
On lap 76, Sheldon Creed spun out after making contact with Dean Thompson, followed by Brennan Poole slamming into Creed bringing out the second caution. Sam Mayer stayed out while everyone else went to pit road and he went on to win the stage over Ryan Sieg.
In Stage 2, Kyle Larson was the leader. There was one caution on lap 107 when Harrison Burton suffered another flat tire. Kyle Larson distanced himself from second place Sammy Smith and put a lot of cars a lap down on his way to winning the stage over Justin Allgaier and Sammy Smith.
In the final stage, Mason Massey spun on the frontstretch after contact with Justin Allgaier and William Sawalich suffered heavy front-end damage after making contact with Connor Zilisch and retired from the race. Kyle Larson dominated the race leading 276 of 300 laps, including the laps 110 laps to win the race by 2.054 seconds over Carson Kvapil.
The rest of the top ten finishers were Justin Allgaier third, Sammy Smith fourth, Brandon Jones fifth, Jesse Love sixth, Ryan Sieg seventh, Corey Heim eighth, Christian Eckes ninth, and Dean Thompson tenth. There were eight lead changes among five drivers and five cautions for 44 laps.
