The Birmingham Stallions (2-1) hosted the Arlington Renegades (2-1) on Friday night from Protective Stadium where they unveiled their 2024 UFL Championship banner.
The defenses from both teams did a good job while the offenses were not good at all. The players on offense were missing their assignments, catches, bad passes, not seeing the field, and committing lots of penalties. The Stallions were penalized 10 times and Arlington was penalized four times.
These results led to it being all field goals for the majority of the game with Arlington leading 9-3 until late in the fourth quarter when Birmingham quarterback Matt Corral threw a game-winning 20-yard touchdown pass to Cade Johnson plus getting the extra point made it 10-9 with 26 seconds left. Birmingham’s defense held off Arlington to come away with a 10-9 win.
