The Houston Roughnecks claimed linebacker Rashod Berry via waivers from the San Antonio Brahmas and released tight end Cam Sutton on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Rashod Berry is six foot four and weighs 255 pounds. The 28-year-old from Lorain, Ohio, signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on August 1, 2024. In 2025, he made one tackle (1 solo), and one tackle for loss in two games. The Brahmas released him on April 15, 2025.

The New England Patriots signed Berry as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2020. He also had stints with the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Indianapolis Colts. Berry played eight games making four tackles (3 solo, 1 assist), and one quarterback hit.

Collegiately, Berry played five seasons at Ohio State (2015-19) playing tight end making 17 catches for 198 yards, and four touchdowns in 40 games for the Buckeyes. He caught the winning touchdown from Dwayne Haskins in the 2019 Rose Bowl against Washington.

Cam Sutton is six foot six and weighs 226 pounds. The 28-year-old from Moreno Valley, California, signed with the Houston Roughnecks on August 21, 2024. In 2025, Sutton made one catch for seven yards in two games.

The Carolina Panthers signed Sutton as an undrafted free agent in 2020. In 2021, Sutton signed with the Seattle Seahawks and played three preseason games making four catches for 12 yards.

Next, Sutton signed with the Vegas Vipers (XFL) on January 6, 2023. In 2023, Sutton made 12 catches for 140 yards in nine games. Then, Sutton signed with the Memphis Showboats on March 5, 2024. However, he was released on March 23, 2024.

Collegiately, Sutton played one season at Riverside Community College in 2017 making 14 catches for 287 yards, and seven touchdowns in nine games for the Tigers. Then, he transferred to Fresno State (2018-19) making nine catches for 154 yards, two carries for 34 yards, and one kick return for four yards in 25 games for the Bulldogs.
