The D.C. Defenders signed linebacker Ralen Goforth on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Ralen Goforth is six foot one and weighs 227 pounds. The 24-year-old from Long Beach, California, signed with the Michigan Panthers on January 14, 2025. He attended training camp and was released on March 20, 2025.
The Green Bay Packers signed Goforth as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2024. In 2024, he made 15 tackles (8 solos, 7 assists) in three preseason games. The Packers released him on November 5, 2024.
Collegiately, Goforth played three seasons at USC (2019-21) making 106 tackles (41 solos, 65 assists), four tackles for loss, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 29 games for the Trojans.
Then, he transferred to Washington in 2022 making 37 tackles (20 solos, 17 assists), four tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 15 games for the Huskies.
