
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed defensive back Marque Collins on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Marque Collins is five foot eleven and weighs 175 pounds. The 24-year-old from Sacramento, California, transferred to BYU in 2024 making 24 tackles (16 solos, 8 assists), one tackle for loss, two interceptions, and 11 pass breakups in 13 games for the Cougars. He was named a Big-12 Honorable Mention in 2024.
Collegiately, Collins played six seasons at Weber State (2018-23) making 100 tackles (70 solos, 30 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, half a sack, five interceptions, and 24 pass breakups in 47 games for the Wildcats. He was part of three Big Sky Championship teams and four teams advancing to the FCS Playoffs. He was named an All-Big Sky Conference Honorable Mention in 2021.
