Birmingham Stallions sign OL Grant Miller and LS William Mote

The Birmingham Stallions signed offensive lineman Grant Miller and long snapper William Mote on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Grant Miller is six foot three and weighs 306 pounds. The 26-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, signed with the Birmingham Stallions on March 10, 2025. He attended training camp and the Stallions released him on March 20, 2025. The Michigan Panthers signed Miller on April 7, 2025. He did not play a game for the Panthers and was released on April 14, 2025.

The Los Angeles Rams signed Grant as an undrafted free agent on May 15, 2023. Miller spent most of the 2023 season on the practice squad. In 2024, he played two preseason games. The Rams released him on August 25, 2024.

Collegiately, Miller played three seasons at Vanderbilt (2018-20) playing center in 31 games for the Commodores. In 2020, Vanderbilt averaged 14.78 points per game, 110.1 rushing yards per game, 219.9 passing yards per game, 330 yards per game, 17 touchdowns, and allowed 19 sacks finishing 0-9 for the season.

Then, Miller transferred to Baylor (2021-22) playing right guard in 26 games for the Bears. In 2022, Baylor averaged 32.15 points per game, 182.4 rushing yards per game, 231.46 passing yards per game, 413.8 total yards per game, 56 touchdowns, and allowed 22 sacks finishing 6-7 for the season making an appearance in the Armed Forces Bowl.

Miller was named First Team All-Big 12 by Pro Football Network, Second Team All-Big 12 by the Associated Press and Phil Steele, and a Big-12 Honorable Mention in 2022.

William Mote is six foot two and weighs 230 pounds. A native of Hoover, Alabama, Mote went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. He attended the Kansas City Chiefs rookie minicamp in 2024.

Collegiately, Mote played four seasons at Georgia (2020-24) playing 52 games for the Bulldogs. He made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist). Mote was named Second Team All-SEC in 2022. He is a member of two CFP National Championship teams in 2021 and 2022.
